This cover looks like it's basically built quite well. I like the design better then the others I looked into, and it appears to be a little heavier duty. Mounting is a breeze - also another big plus. One person can put it on or take it off, without much hassle. I wanted a hard cover like this, for additional security, and the flexability you get with being able to lock it open as well, or remove.

Getting it to my house was an entirely different story. The first shipment showed up, UPS, and the box was all beat up, and the cover was dented pretty bad. The packaging they chose to use didn't stand a chance with UPS. Had to package this massive thing back up, get the RGA, and drive it to UPS. QUITE A PAIN. Called Amazon to discuss packaging, and got someone in India. I'm not sure what they were saying. Second shipment showed up, also dented, this time even worse. I asked them to package better and don't ship UPS - but that fell on deaf ears. Had to package this one back up, to send this one back as well, which was a bit more confusing and combersome as Amazons customer service gave me conflicting instructions, and changed what they wanted me to do a couple times. BIGGER PAIN. Third shipment showed up, still packaged the same way, and still shipped UPS. It was dented as well, but not nearly as bad. In fact the only dent is pretty small, and I will probably keep this one, as I don't want to deal with this any more. This one also had a number of small scratches in the paint. Extang is sending out some touch up paint to me, which is great, but at almost $800, I would rather not have to being touching up. But, I really want this cover, and have come to believe I'm just going to have to live with a small dent and some touched up paint if I want it. I guess they won.

Nice cover, but very dissapointed none the less.
