I am very pleased with this product, as it performs even better than advertised. The solar panels receive significantly less than 8 hours of direct sun per day, yet the lanterns remain brightly lit for several hours after dark.

There is a little bit of time involved in placing the shades on each light in the strand, but it's not difficult.

We put the lights up in the tree in our front yard, and it was far simpler than putting up standard fairy lights at Christmas-time. Much less hassle and headache. I only wish the strands were longer - but I certainly recommend this as advertised; I for one won't hesitate to use this seller again.

Lights are nice, not spectacular. Had trouble getting it to light up at first, but it eventually did so without any further trouble (maybe it needed to be charged). And, yes, it is pretty short, shorter than I expected. This is an okay item but a good example of an item that to me doesn't really represent good value for the price I paid (and I have bought a lot of solar lights over the past year).
