I bought this a few weeks ago. I shared a image above of it on my 2009 Silverado 4.8L.
Pro's: Easy installation. Noticeable sound change under the hood and from the exhaust. More powerful and muscular to say the least. Much cheaper purchasing from Amazon vs local stores. Easy to follow instruction, fast delivery.
Con's: You have to drill a hole to secure the heat shield. I am don't really like to drill holes in my vehicles. It wont stop you from installing it if you choose not to. The heat shield wall goes in place with and L bracket and uses the existing molded inserts, so the drilling in my opinion is optional.
Not sure if the MPG will change or not, depends on how I drive I guess. But I did notice a improved throttle response and power increase.
In my opinion worth the money. All trucks and performance cars should come like this.

I had a home made k&n intake on my 2011 gmc sierra and it made a diffrance. i ordered this one and my wife and i went for a ride and for my wife to say oh wow theres a big diffrance its like awesome.dont know about gas millage but way more power. :-)

Installed this K&N cai today and am very pleased with the product. Everything fits exactly like it should. I have not driven enough to give feedback on the mileage increase but I can certainly feel a difference in throttle response and HP. The sound difference is also noticable but I already have a Magnaflow exhaust installed so it's not much louder. I originally ordered a Spectre cai kit but it won't fit the '11 model because the MAF sensor and crank case air line don't have a place on the Spectre. This K&N kit is made of high quality materials and certainly looks built to last. I'll update after a couple tanks of gas with any MPG gains.
